We had a blast getting Matt Price on camera. As one of USC’s greatest pitchers, fans will be totally thrilled to see this interview. Matt and I were very close in college and told some hilarious stories of our antics back in the day. Instead of a pre-game handshake, Matt and I would give each other a big hug before we took the field, in front of the entire crowd! This team was all about the love!
Matt had an incredible career at Carolina and went on to play professionally for a few years. After injuries forced him to hang up the spikes, he came back to USC to finish his degree and to coach his former squad. Since then, Matt married his long-time sweetheart, Abbye, and they have two gorgeous daughters. He is now a baseball and football coach at Sumter high as well as a History teacher!
