John and I lived together for a couple years back in college so needless to say we had some wild stories to share.  We met him on campus at USC and sat down in the incredible new media room at the baseball stadium. He was considered the team’s wild card, we never knew what he was going to do! 

 

John had a season in 2011 that will compare to none! He appeared in 50 games with an ERA just over 1. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners and played a few years in minor league ball.  John came back to work with the grounds crew teams at USC and to finish his degree.  He is now engaged and living back in his hometown of Florence!
