My crew and I worked out a visit to Reno to watch Christian play against Michael Roth in a AAA game. We sat down at an amazing scene with snowcap mountains and the gorgeous stadium behind us. Christian has already hit 4  big league home runs during 60+ major league at bats and in 2017 he absolutely destroyed the minor league competition.  Appropriahittely so, Christian hit a home run his first at bat during the game we came all the way to see him play. This guy has the truest and most pure swing of anyone I’ve ever seen! 

 

Christian received the 2017 Pacific Coast League Most Valuable Player award, the league's highest individual honor and spearheaded the PCL's highest-scoring offense by driving in a Minor League Baseball-best 113 runs. He hit 32 home runs and scored 103 to join the Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton and the Diamondbacks' Paul Goldschmidt as the only players in professional baseball to have at least 30 home runs, 100 RBI and 100 runs this season. 

 

He's also been elected to both the PCL mid- and postseason All-Star teams. He was the league's designated hitter in the Triple-A All-Star Game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored, while he got the nod at first base on the end-of-season team. Christian has already been called back up to the big leagues this 2018 season with Arizona.  He's going to be one of the best hitters in all of baseball, I'm calling it!

 

Christian married his high school sweetheart, Amanda, and they loved USC so much they bought a house back in Columbia!
